The thing you get into with small bore, high velocity cartridges is they erode the forcing cone very fast.
My only BFR Long Cylinder is a 45-70 for a reason.
I think similar cartridges would work just fine. The 450 Marlin, 444 Marlin, 38-55, etc. Even the 30-30 to a degree. I'd like it for cast bullets loaded in front of pistol powder.

I still like the 350 Legend, plus the fact it has more horsepower then the 357 Maximum. One can use all 357 Maximum loads in the 350 L cylinder if your prefer the lighter loads.

So I’m not asking for a commitment here, but my retired tool and die buddy, could easily make a cylinder with more holes… does anyone know of a smith that might do that, working on a BFR???
I’d be more likely to commit to purchasing a 350 or 357Max, if I could get a 2nd cylinder made with more holes…. JRH? Anyone you guys can think of

I use lots of Imperial sizing die wax and a good strong press. I bent the hollow handle on the Lee Classic Cast press and replaced it with a Dillon 550 handle. You might slug your bore to see how big it is before buying your dies. I get about .001" spring back on the Speer 235s. The Sierra 200s shoot really well also after a trip through the sizer.
