I’m a mechanic so it only stands to reason I’m a little into cars, used to be into Ford diesels but I gave that up when I left the ford dealer. I have 2 of these right now. 2012 Chevy caprices with a 6.0 L77. This one has a single bolt LS3 cam, GM blue valve springs, LS2 chain tensioner, melling 10295 oil pump and a few other extras. I also put in a 3.27 rear end from a 2010 camaro. It’s a fun daily, not great in the snow Besides that I fish a lot. Trout in the spring, fall and winter. Bass in the summer. Have a 17ft aluminum bass boat but no pics

The sleeper bowtie car! That is what we are doing with my 1956 Chevy right now. Will still look bone stock with the 35 year old paint job, original interior but new crate 350 painted to look like an original 265, R700 overdrive with correct gear indicator panel on the column, electric windshield wiper motor, power steering and power disc brakes al hid behind one inch larger wheels painted the original color with pinstripe and the original hubcaps in the centers.

Retired from police work in 2019, little early at 27 years but I’m glad I’m out. Work in the medical field now. I do a little hunting, some shooting, but the wife and I have a passion for fly fishing. Mainly trout, bass and panfish but hope to return to LA this year to try for some redfish on the flyrod.

Retired from the Navy in 2014 after 32 years. Fleet Marine Force Corpsman then Submarine Duty and finally Command Master Chief. Currently I am a Program Manger at a Naval Shipyard
I love to hunt with a Longbow or handgun, like to fly fish, kayak and Cross Country ski. I used to do a bit of mountaineering but I've outgrown that.

I am just learning how to fly fish. All summer long I practiced casting on the front deck of my boat, mostly wooly buggers and poppers for bass and bluegills.
We don’t have much of a native trout population around here so we have to rely on stocking to catch fish in any kind of numbers. This fall stocking was really poor and I struggled with the fly rod. I’m up to 7 fish, all rainbows since I started in October. All have taken buggers, including 2 I caught on Saturday in my first below freezing fishing trip. I’m really trying to understand nymphing but I’m having trouble.

I just counted them , I have been retired (sort of retired) for 26 years, All my sons are telling they are retiring maybe next year, They think I should get a smaller P/U instead of my F 450 but I need it to carry a big slide in so I can travel I still have not been to OR yet and I have a granddaughter who lives in that state. I can use that as an excuse to head out there. As to rebuilding cars My wife bought a 1971 Mustang convertible and let my 3 sons drive it now and then. Each of them managed to total the car. It got so bad I thought of rebuilding it with zippers. Can't complain the oldest comes back from a hitch in the Air Force with two Boss Mustangs to rebuild, so I guess he learned something. Just replaced the crossmembers on the pu bed in the oldest ones shop over the last thanksgiving & xmas .You have to beat the Muleys off with a stick in that place even the shooting does not seem to bother them, You know of course they can read a calendar because 1 day before season they are gone. I left a few guns out there this time won't have to haul them back and forth and it will give me space in case I find something else I need/ want. So far all the shortages have sort of passed me by. I do have a couple waiting in the wings. One Dave Clements has had a while and one Ruger does not want to build right now. Be nice to get rid of this covid thing. Have a nice day Don K

Ya'll have some interesting hobbies, meanwhile, I'm just a vagrant hanging out at Walmart begging for spare change and live in a refrigerator box down by the river.😂

I'm new to this handgun stuff but not the outdoors. I've been a wing shooter for almost 40 years now. My favorite thing is to walk up to my dog on point and have a rooster flush in front of his nose. youtu.be/YF9jsoMVTvEThe more we can do it the better. It holds me back from some other outdoor activities in the fall.

Bird hunting has to be one of the best things, ever. And when my buddy brought along his dog Brandy we hardly ever lost a bird.

I grew up hunting ducks and geese with Grampa over decoys and good Chessie in Western MT. Man, those were some good days. The best huntin was when the Northerners were in the Fathead Valley and when it got cold, like 15 below. All the lakes and potholes would freeze up, ice floatin down the Flathead River. We'd be in the pit that Grampa dug back in the 30's on a little point in a slough that was fed by a warm spring. Only open water in the valley. "ducks on top o ducks" as Grampa would say. There's nuthin like the smell of gunpowder, a wet Chessie and dead mallards on a cold morning!
Theres nothing like bird or waterfowl hunting with a good dog. RIP Grampa, Taffy, Lucky and Tuffy.
