That kind of puts things in perspective Mr. Byrd.

Agreed, I've never seen a bearcat in person before. Literally half the size.

I had been wanting a 32 cal Bearcat for some time, so I jumped at the chance when I heard David Clements was going to be offering this conversion. Last January I sent him this Bearcat Shopkeeper... And I just got it back after he converted it to 32 H&R Magnum. I'm really happy with it! It now wears an octagon barrel, dovetailed front sight, and his S&W pre-war adjustable sight. Action feels great. It's awesome, and beat my expectations so far. Range report to follow. The holster is by Doc Barranti, his Myres Barton's Special. Doc finished it this summer, and it's equally impressive! Next up are some grips by Zane...currently in the works! How is this working out for you? Thamks in advance for a reply...Frank

I find myself carrying it often when walking the dog, and trout fishing for a few hours. The craftmanship, balance, and packability are top notch. I have only been shooting jacketed so far, but plan on trying some Miha cast soon. It shoots exactly to the sights with jacketed factory ammunition, so I haven't moved them from where David set them. I've been carrying it IWB with this fine little rig...very comfortable and handy. Pretty easily packed in jacket or big vest pocket too.

Looks like it got new grips too? Yes...new walnut grips from Zane at LSCG, eliminating the angular hotspots found on the factory grips. Much more comfortable, and they look good doing it.

David made it a 3" barrel, just like the original barrel.
I was just punching some holes in paper with it yesterday...just a great little gun to handle

Still shooting factory Black Hills 85 gr JHP. They shoot so well that I haven't strayed from my good supply that I have. Had. Will have to experiment with some loads soon.
