and then I saw the stainless. What additions to the forum today. I appreciate those words. I chose the stainless with the factory style brushed finish for one simple reason. You can take a lady's nail buffer and touch up the finish to make it look new at any time.

If the base pin fit was sloppy it seems like he'd correct that before making the cylinder?

If the base pin fit was sloppy it seems like he'd correct that before making the cylinder? I can only speak for mine, but base pin fit is extremely tight. No play at all. Dave also added the extra power latch spring as I do with all my guns. He did tell me my base pin didn't jump where the factory ones did before the extra power latch spring. I suspect all will add Belt Mountain Base Pins. It's a great upgrade for $30...

Those all turned out great! Congratulations to all! Enjoy shooting those little firebrands. I think my 327 Single Six is the loudest gun I have, pound for pound.

The only upgrade I am considering is a Belt Mountain Hardened Base Pin Latch.
I had polished my Base Pin before shipping. Very tight, but removes and installs with easy.

Base pin on the shopkeeper was in there tight, and took a minute to get out the first time. All the parts he modified feel very precise, no binding...just well fit.

I'd check with the lady who shot the big bull in the Caldera last year!

Where does one get a lady's nail buffer??? Walmart... It's about a 1/2" square Emory Board with seven different grits applied. Only a couple bucks too. Handier than pockets on a shirt working on guns...

They are all very nice and very different, as well they should be. That's why they call it custom. Congrats to all of you fine folks and I hope you all really get a lot of enjoyment from Mr. Clements fine smithing......

they all look awesome... I'm thinking if I got into these at the beginning, I'm not sure if I would have gone 327 or just H&R magnum... I guess since the dimensions of the guns are the same, might as well go big BTW... I also sent a #5 Belt Mountain base pin in my parts for my Bisley Single Six 22 CCM, that John Powers is doing... I'm also really looking forward to getting my 10mm Rimmed GP from master Clements later this year... hopefully... I'm not used to sending guns out for work... having a good local guy spoiled me, but now that he has finally hung up his tools... I have 2 holes on the walls of the gun room... I suppose that keeps me from forgetting I sent them off, on a long term project... but also reminds me every day, that they are gone... they say patience is a virtue... however humans by nature are not virtuous Didn't think that ^ looked correct... looks better now

I have a hard time waiting. But, holding this gun makes it ok.
The thing is best described as a Baby 454 Casull. I'm constantly walking around the woods where I live. It will give me great security without carrying a boat anchor.

encore... did you say where your grips came from??? something from Zane, or someone else??? I'm thinking they look "distinctive"
I ended up getting a set of Stag grips from Craig, for my 50 caliber Super Blackhawk, & while I hadn't done much stag in the past, I think that gun now looks the best it ever has...
&, BTW do you have a picture of the loading gate side of your new Bearcat???
Thanks
