you guys posting pictures have me truly drooling... I'd have liked to had a set of grips from him... if fact I tried looking for some on Gun Broker a couple weeks ago... nothing turned up on my search... a testament to the quality... likely anyone lucky enough to have a set, keeps them... BTW... as incredible as they all are... that concealed hammer S&W, is totally out of this world... do you have more pictures of that one??? Here you go...
This first one is the side shown in the 1990 article - you may be able to just make out a couple scratches right behind the hammer. Roy said the gun "got out of the truck before I did once", obviously did not snag on his pants!
Laminated original article Roy gave me.
Master seems like too plain a title . I need to find that article .

Sad news. I never had the pleasure of dealing with him, but I sure do enjoy seeing his work!

There can only be one #1, he was the Michael Jordan of Grip Makers for sure. Amazing work!

I have always heard of the grips that Mr. Fishpaw was known for. I'm sorry that seeing so many examples of his work had to be in a thread about his passing.
Condolences to his wife and family

That is very sad news. He was truly one of the greatest grip makers of all time. I will be thinking of his family in this difficult time.

The magazine shown above arrived today and it is stuffed with good stuff! Not only is the article about Roy in it but one about Thad Rybka by JT and an article on loading for the 475 Linebaugh by JT! Christmas in November!
