Mine is the 50GI, I first got it as a Glock 21 conversion, and after shooting it went BAT S CRAZY, had an AR15 DI upper built in it then converted a MAC10, had an encore barrel chambered in it. Then 2 more AR uppers and built a suppressor for it. Then picked up another encore barrel in it (longer than the first one). Lastly I got a great deal on a Glock 21 frame so I had it cut down to take Glock 30 mags and got another conversion slide for it, and it is a great setup. I keep trying to get Gun Crafters to come out with a G30 conversion but no go so far. The 50GI is amazing in that it can run with all bullet weights from 185gr to 500gr and cases are super strong and last, I have one batch of brass that has been reloaded 20X and just got a crack in the mouth on one of them. And when people get into the argument of what caliber to carry for self defense 9mm or 45acp, I can say I carry a 50 caliber. Sounds like you need a single action in 50 GI. Tim ![](https://i.imgur.com/dyh1YxP.jpg) That is BEAUTIFUL I have been thinking of looking into a stainless version 5.5" barrel and custom grips. That would make a great woods gun. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

22,32/s&w long / 32 h&r mag,and 500 Linebaugh...on any given day and mood swings. I have others but these are the ones that I seem to gravitate to most these days...Reloading plays a huge part in the centerfire cart. for me. fwiw

For me the 44 & the 41, then the 32/327. I shoot them all the time, all 4 seasons in Idaho, fall, winter, fall & winter! In the single shots for Rock Chucks its an XP100 in 223 & the 25 TCU. If I ever got back into rifles (I won't) it would be a 338/06.

Huey, you've really snuggled up to that 25/20! Great little guns, cheap to shoot, no recoil or noise, what's not to like. Don't know if I mentioned but I had one in a model 43 Winchester & it was a dandy with that 65 gr flat nose cast bullet. They weren't very strong but great shooters for my son's growing up & I see you have a real fondness for yours. One of my boys shot 2 deer with the model 43 & that 65 gr cast bullet, worked great.
