Mine has a tight .0025" barrel gap all the way around. The news just keeps getting better.

I need some information............. There will be a new Single Seven 327 bullet coming along. I need the length of the cylinder with case in it. Case head to front of cylinder dimension for both the GP100 and SP101 if you will please. I want to see if it fits these. Thanks................ GP100 - cylinder length = 1.610, cylinder length w/case head=1.660
SP101 - cylinder length = 1.585, cylinder length w/case head = 1.635
Thanks...... Both of those guns will accept the new Single Seven bullet as well as it's bigger brother, the 314-140-LFN.

I finally got my hands on mine today. I've never seen a finer DA revolver.
Could do without the warning on the side of the barrel, but fit and finish were first rate.
Bluing was like the old model guns. No swirls in the steel like so many have these days.
Truly a fine piece of work. Will be interesting to see if its the norm or hit and miss.

In that post of Hoover's he says" For the .327 Federal, I would try loads of 9 and 10 grins of AA#9 in .32 H&R brass, and shoot it in my .327, due to so much bullet sticking out from lack of powder space." Was he seating the bullet to the crimp grove or seating it long in .32H&R brass ?

Bushog,I seat a 140 lfn/in 32 H/R cases to the crimp grove using Fermins data on .32 H/R with 135s an H110 (out of my single six 32 H/R) they shoot nice to 50 yards.. thats as far as I have tried them

That boy is so busy anymore I'm not sure it would do you any good to message him and ask him yourself!

These guns seem scarce and/or they've not started full production of them yet.

These guns seem scarce and/or they've not started full production of them yet. I hear you. The few that were on Gunbroker got snapped up pretty quickly; I think it was a matter of pent up demand grabbing the visible units. There's probably a few sitting on gun store shelves now, waiting for the right person to walk in. I'm glad I was able to nail one down with a deposit, but I don't have it in hand yet.

I talked on the phone to a rep at Lipsey`s who said that only a few hundred of each (327, 357, 44) of the blued GP100s were made in the first run. He also said that since demand was so high, especially for the 327s, they were having a second run made. I didn't ask how many units.
The Lipsey`s rep also took down my name and my local dealer and said they would ship a 327 blued GP100 there after the second run was complete. I went ahead and ordered one off of gunbroker because I didn't want to wait, but if it's as nice as people are saying, I might have to buy the second one as well.
I like the fact that the GP100 is almost as light as the S7, and its cylinder is almost as long as my 327 Blackhawk`s so I'll be able to load the Miha 140 grain bullets to full length. Anyone want to buy my S7?😁

I see they're bringing back the #1748 (stainless, full lug 4.2") & I think I'd prefer it. They're also bringing out a 6" in stainless too

Picked mine up today. Allows a loaded C.O.L. of 1.65". Chambers tighter than Single Sevens as are the throats.
Brass fired in S7 will not chamber in GP100. Throats are a very tight .313".
Will likely be DA #1...
