Yep...that's the one.... I pulled the trigger on it. It cost me but I wanted it darnit... so it goes..... I don't think I'll find another in this kind of shape for much less. The darned 16-4s are more common and going for that much or more. www.gunbroker.com/item/719068359

I GOT MINE ALONG WITH COMPANION .22LR AND .22 MAG VERSIONS THAT YEAR. THEY GO TO THE GRANDKIDS.

Congratulations, I would much rather have the 4" than the 2" version. I think it was about 2012 when these guns (prices) seemed to go through the roof. SO the guns are not going to get cheaper. I would want to be trying Dick's ( sixshot) Load of 3.0 grs of WST with the bullet he uses. I do hope this pistol is an accurate one for you.

Box it up and stash it .( I deep sixed a 032, a 3" 632 and a 632-1) Then go get a 3" or a 4" Sp-101 327 for a shooter. You won't be disappointed. 3" 4"

I've got one. I traded for it almost 20 years ago when looking for a Ruger Bisley .32 because Ross Seyfried influenced me again. I went to an old gun store and they had a 6" full underlug Smith .32 or this one, I now wish I had both. I traded for this one and pretty much burned myself in the trade but with the prices they are getting now, I'm feeling a little better about it these days. He had a price tag of $400 on it when I traded. It is an awesome little gun but admittedly I haven't shot it much, I plan to change that soon though because I have a few other .32"s now and a ton of reloading stuff. I love the 4" J frames and wish Smith would make a few more, I would like one in .38 special but apparently they have never made a 4" .38 J frame.
You will be happy you got it. It's a lot of power in such a tiny gun and the 4" barrel is just awesome.

I have never seen a 631, if I do, it will be mine. Any 4" J frame is a treasure, love them all.

Anybody have one? Comments on them? Found one I'm thinking of picking up..... I have one. I call it my S&W SuperKitGun. Accurate, as would be expected. Although others might, I will not use anything heavier than Factory Stock ammunition in it. Also have a Ruger SP101 in .32 H&R Mag. Much heavier and not quite as accurate. Had to put Wolff springs in it and clean up the interior. I can use much heavier loads in this one than I will in the S&W. Also have a Ruger SuperSingleSix. Had it first and developed the heavier loads for that one (not as heavy as the Skeeter Skelton loads, but a good deal heavier than stock). Worked up to the same amount when I got the SP101 and now use that for both of my Ruger loads. Also a S&W 332 SuperLite (standard loads) and a S&W NewModel 16 that has since been rechambered to 32-20 (Ken Waters load). All good. All fun. All worth it.

Sweet! I have always wanted one of them. Got rid of my Model 16 like a fool. I did latch onto a 632 in 327 Mag. Black Stainless with adjustible sights and ported. Neat gun!
