I was kinda saddened when I heard that Mr. Harton was going to stop working on Rugers. Seeing this thread has changed that. What a gift.

It's amazing that the top strap coloring is seamless as well. I would imagine the bit of steel he used in the repair wasn't just pulled from the scrap pile.
