Found one NIB that I am considering. Admittedly, I know very llittle about the Colt revolvers.
Brown box, not the blue.
Could use some advice on this purchase.

Encore:
Physically check it out very carefully if you are not purchasing remotely. The third generation Colt SAA New Frontiers can vary in quality as they came from the factory.
Inspect all of the screw heads, the fit of the trigger guard and backstrap to the frame and finally the action, slowly cocking the hammer from the rest position to full cock and then dry firing the revolver with some snap caps. Also, inspect the front sight for straightness and the barrel muzzle for any nicks.
With the hammer at the half cock position rotate the cylinder and listen for crisp clicks from the hand. At this time operate the ejector rod checking for smoothness and making sure the ejector rod housing is tightly secured at the front to the barrel.
Other than some over polishing, the metal finish, including color case hardening and bluing, is usually done very well.
The walnut grips are usually not well fit but are functional.
If you know of a Colt SAA experienced enthusiast that can help you with the inspection you will find this added set of eyes and ears very helpful. It is like taking your trusted mechanic to help you evaluate a vintage automobile before purchasing.
Wishing you good fortune on this acquisition, the New Frontiers are fun shooters with their adjustable sights; you will have confidence on hitting the target at your point of aim.

The 7½" lengths are common. The 4¾" & 5½" lengths are less common and command a significant premium.

If it's well put together it's a great six-gun & fantastic cartridge. Let us know if you get it.

No issues here. I have been extremely well blessed. I spend my time being thankful for what I have, not missing what I don't.

Well, as always happens. Another NIB Colt NF 44 Special showed up. Far better grip material and fit. Absolutely perfect condition. Mine for $250 less than the first.

Hard to beat the 44 Sp...I've got a couple of things ahead of a NF on the bucket list, but I'd be opportunistic as hell if one presented itself at the right price. Pics or it didn't happen

This one was manufactured early in 1980. Price was extremely reasonable, or so I thought. It truly is a bucket list gun from childhood dreams.
Fully aware that my Rugers, FAs, BFRS, etc will fully outperform it.
But, reading the Elmer Keith books growing up has kept me wanting one. A few have accused me of blasphemy for not getting it in 45 Colt. I wanted it in 44 Special, so that's what I got.
