Don't you just love it when you get the call to come pick up a new custom! We will be riding to Jasper Saturday morning... Going to a little shop out on Bird Farm Road.... There is a 5 inch Octagon Stainless 500 Linebaugh waiting for me there.... ;D Pics soon!

Very cool, Axe! I'm looking forward to the pics.
I'm waiting (and waiting...) for a Dustin Linebaugh .500 Bisley Vaquero, 4" octagon barrel. Sister gun of Al Anderson's, but blued rather than stainless. VERY cool deal, I believe Looyd Smale has one like it. Dustin says another week or two.
Tick..........tock.
By the way - if I'd known it would be so easy to trade you out of your stainless TLA #5, I would have tried!

Go ahead, just rub it in.
I plan on making a trip myself when I or John locate a .44 Mag cylinder to convert to a min spec 45.
Its a 6 hour drive for me. How long is it for you Axe?

How long? if I can average over 100MPH I can run it in less than an hour.... Our law enforcement brothers like me to take 90 minutes... Close enough to go often but far enough that I'm not tempted to go every day... Got a safe full of projects I need to haul down.... Trying to limit it to one project that I really NEED.... There is the 414 project, a 4 5/8 NM BH 45 and a SBH cylinder, the consecutive SN SBHs that need to be converted to Bisleys, a FT 44 that needs some holes welded up, and a pot full of ribbed S&W barrels in 41, 44 and 45 along with a gaggle of old ragged 3 screw 357s..... IT IS KILLING ME... ;D But... It will be okay.... I have 440 LFNs falling out of the LBT mold right and left, Magma Engineering has shipped my .511 size die for my star. and a 270 LFN mold and size die for the 414 are on their way...

We need a new rule that Axe cannot tease us with customs until he has a pic ready to go. This is more than once he has held us in suspense...I just think it's plain rude.
Can a moderator send him to "time out", I don't quite understand the principle as I just got a whoopin' as a kid.
BTW, don't confuse my "envy" as "anger".

The front sight and barrel writing caught my eye. Possibly a No. 5 backstrap to come?

It'll be like the top one, but all-blue (no CCH).

IMHO You boys need to put some sights on those thangs.... The better you and the gun shoot the more an adjustable sight is needed.... After the base zero is acquired and you are shooting little bitty groups minor things can move that group from one side of the center of the target to the other...
