Just curious about how long this took others here? All of my throats took the .4505 pilot and it took 2 hrs to do the first one. I didn't push at all though.
The results are great though as my lead only takes a tap to go through.

It took me a lot longer to do my ACP cylinders than it did my 45 colt cylinders. However even the longest one only took 30 to 40 minutes.

Joe,
Is that 30-40 per hole or the entire cylinder? Took me 2 hrs for one hole.

Yes entire cylinder. Dang. That's longer than it should take.
I do push a little though. I dont bear down but i turn it and push til i hit some resistance then turn til it gets easier then push lightly til i get resistance and so on.

I'll giver Manson a call in the morning and see what advice they give before I give it another go, just to be safe. I had virtually no pressure at all.
Thanks.

Joe, I, too, would like to rent this when its available. I just finished doing 3 of my 38/357's and feel pretty comfortable with the process. I would appreciate the opportunity to do my older 45Colt Redhawk with this tool. Bruce

Just wanted to stop in and say what an improvement. Went to the range this morning and walked out 15 steps. 8gr Unique grouped about 3.5" off hand and 15.5gr 2400 grouped about 2".
Thanks again.

Well J Keith got shut down by a dull reamer so I sent it back to Manson and they sharpened it. A quick run through my new 45 Auto Vaquero and I think it is good to go now.
So I will send it to J Keith for a redo and it will be ready to rent when it gets back.
I think I will stop the renting after number 8 or 9 unless it starts getting slow before then and go ahead and have it resharpened next time.
So I count for 1, J Keith will be 2.
For renters, please let me know how many you use the reamer on so i can keep up with it and not have this issue next time.
Thanks yall!!
Joe S.
And in case any of yall have a dull reamer and are wondering, manson charges +/- $41 including return shipping to sharpen these. Cost you about $7 to ship priority to them, so just under $50.

Joe, Please add me to the list. I have a pair of 7 1/2" original model Vaqueros that both have tight cylinder throats so accuracy suffers. Many Thanks.
Best Regards, ADP3
