I'm thinking a big Folgers coffee can (3 lbs) full of once fired 480 brass shipped to the winner. Best I remember it is Hornady brass.
Now how to get in the Karma... Post the picture of your favorite single action 480/475 and post your best guess about what the Lipseys gun will be. Accuracy of your guess doesn't matter and you don't need to currently own the gun you post the picture of but to be included in the drawing you must post a picture AND make your prediction.. When Lipseys posts the specifics about the gun the entries are cut off. We'll put your names in a hat and draw a name.

Sixshots 480....... I REALLY liked that revolver. That was just a clean revolver I'm thinking the lipseys release will be a 480 Blackhawk 5 1/2"..... I'm truly hoping so as I'm just waiting on the word to have my dealer order it Friday

Here is an example. I predict a stainless Bisley 480 Ruger with a 5.5 inch barrel and fence post grips. My picture is a Reeder Ultimate Bisley with mongolian stag grips.

I'll play. My Guess: Fullsized Bisley Blackhawk, stainless steel, 5.5" barrel. Favorite 480/475 revolver: Greg's 475 Harton built Bisley. I'm the current caretaker. Favorite 480 rifle: Puma Model 92 in .480 Ruger - no picture right now. Looks like a box stock '92 in blue. Tim

Nice! I'll play, my favorite 480 is my own Huntington New Vaquero with a 4-3/4" "N" frame S&W barrel and S&W sights. My guess for the Lipsey's gun is a SS Bisley in 480 with a 5-1/2" barrel, though I'm hoping for a 500 of some flavor since I don't currently have one in the stable. What is really neat, It's probably the only S&W barreled single action with British proof marks on the barrel!

OK, so maybe I'd change my mind to Steve's mid-frame - I'm a sucker for S&W barrels! Tim

Tim, FYI the wood for those grips from that Harton gun came off the same block of walnut as my 480 grips and the grips from my OM 44 in my avatar. I was saving those blanks for a future project when Greg PMed me about needing some pretty wood.

Nice Steve! I sent Greg a piece of the last wood a couple of weeks back. Should end up on something interesting. Tim

Don't y'all know the .480 is obsolete? There's no ammo at Walmart.

Steve, That 480 is beautiful. I need to look at having one of those built. Gorgeous.

Exactly why you boys will be needing a little brass...
