One of my friends has more rounds through 929s than anyone else in the world. We have discovered their quirks and know what they need to run.

On the cylinders, Lee is correct. Most of my 929s have spots where the coating is worn or eroding. When you put 30-100k rounds through them you will see stuff come off.
As for Starline, their brass is a softer alloy than some of the other brands. That's why it sticks. FC and Blazer should work wonderfully.

If you have any questions about 929s just ask. I have 5 or 6 of them.

One of the top revo shooters in USPSA/ICORE chiming in. Starline is a hard pass. You want FC brass or Blazer for a 929. I have beaten my ejector rod against a post to eject Starline brass from a 929.

I own "a few" 9mm revolvers, their best use is likely competition. I will say, one of my carry guns is an LCR in 9mm and that little rascal will toss a 147 gr +p at some respectable speeds. Plus you get to reload with moonclips, if you are ever in the unfortunate situation where you need to reload.

I know there are a few action shooters lurking in these hills. Curious if anyone else survived the torrential rain Florida had to offer! They literally put bilge pumps in the bays to clear water out. It was very wet.

Always shoot the gun before modifying certain parts. One of my most accurate guns is "loose" and has "bad dimensions". I'll cut up and carve all kinds of parts before firing a round. Cylinder throats, forcing cones, and crowns are best left untouched until you get baseline data. I have ruined parts by assuming they were the issue before proving it.

So I've taken a plunge. I've loaded about 750 357 mags and have tested numerous Underwood 9mm, 38, and 357 loads. Data and photos to come.

I've bought several guns from Jim (owner of Long Hunter's) and he does good work on cowboy guns. One I purchase had a small issue and he paid for roundtrip shipping to ensure it was 100% before I put it into service. Real class act.

I enjoy shooting 50-100 yards with handguns. This forum is what encouraged me to start shooting 100 and beyond. People look at you funny when you pull out a DAO revolver on the 200 or 300 yd rifle range.

Mine, won this gun and already have a polymer 9mm. Set the starting bid below dealer cost. If someone wants it, a deal is to be had. www.gunbroker.com/item/962358245
