I may be confused, but I thought those were reclassified as Destructive Devices back around '94. There was an amnesty period where the owners could register them, but that's long since past.
The fact this seller makes no mention of NFA rules, and has it listed in the semi-auto category, makes me think this one is contraband.

Like I said..."scary". I think you're right...so wonder why it is, but the Saiga isn't? Oh....because it will be soon? I sent him an email inquiring about the Class III status.

I remember seeing those when I was kid. They were semi-plentiful laying on gunshow tables. I bet you can find a lot of them if you stroll through the hills with a metal detector.

If you seperate street and sweeper, four come up on GB. I live in Lake county Fla and had inquired to my rep for the local sheriff if they would sign off on one a while back. answer was yes. I've got a sherriff that signed off on a 14" barrel for my Benelli M4, is willing to sign off on other things. Not that I'm going to aquire one of each category of evil stuff, just good to know that's who's sherriff in town.

The Street Sweeper was one small notch above junk. The Striker was the real deal. Both had to be registered after 1994. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"
