My Dad's hunting rifle for years and years. I can't imagine how many deer and elk he took with that rifle.
I don't see ugly when I look at an old 760. I see deer camp, skinned deer hanging in the basement, hunts in the hills and mountains of Washington and Oregon... and all my uncles and my Dad sitting around a fire telling the most ridiculous stories.
God, I miss my Dad.

Is that the Managed Recoil 125-gr. load?

No it is the regular load. A little over 3000fps is what it is supposed be. Of course it should be a bit slower in my rifle.

The 125gr Remington PSP's chrono at 2820fps from the cut down 760. I had forgotten to come back and update the threads with the chrono readings.

You can't go wrong with a good 760 in 30-06.

1.Yea, nice rifle. All you need. These darn magazines and TV shows are all pushing these $1500 rifles and the same for optics. ARHHHHH.
The other thing that kills me is the ads with guys carrying AR-15's with 20 round magazines,,ARHHHHHHH.
2. BTW, I saw a pump carbine, .30-30 at the pawn shop the other day. $325. Kinda cool.
