i took my old model flattop 44 magnum on opening day and got this doe. i really like this old gun

i wont put out the load, but it was a stiff charge of 2400 under a magnus keith bullet. it went 1400 over the chronograph

Great job!!! Congrats on getting a deer with the handgun. That's the only way I hunt anymore too.

He knows I ran over that thing in my Toyota and he ran up,laid his sixgun on it and snapped a quick pic,I never thought he would post it,LOL,good job buddy,ole Elmer would be proud

banjopkr, as many ruger hands and gripframes as we have fixed, we might have been able to save her if we had gotten to the shop in time.

It had some pretty back straps. I cut them into roasts instead of butterflies. reflex264
