This is a glimpse of my new 32-20 Alan Harton is making for me. It is built on an OM .357 Frame. Features a 5 1/2 inch bbl. with full length EJRH. Walnut grips that Alan made. The grip frame is a steel XR3 from an Anniversary .44 Mag. Bowen rear and custom front by Alan as well.

Looks great. I was going to do the 5.5" barrel with full length on my 44 special but didn't do it in the end. I really like the look that it gives to the sixgun, seeing this one makes me wish I had gone ahead and done it anyway I bet that will be a shooter for sure. Thanks for sharing!! GS

Yes, it has a linebored cylinder and Alan says it shoots as good as it looks. He said it locks up as tight as a Freedom Arms gun. Now, I just wish he would send me the bill so I can shoot it.

A work of art! And a well thought out custom... Makes me feel good about all those 3 screw conversion candidates sitting in the safe...

Nice choice of options and an even better choice of caliber. My dad and I were talking a few months back about how if we had to choose two cartridges for field work (CCW aside), the 32-20 and 45 Colt would top the list. Pretty neat considering both are over a century old. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Have you given any thought to a second cylinder? I know there are some on here that will probably want to ex-communicate me for mentioning it, but I always liked the ides, you could have a 2nd made in 327 Federal and shoot just about any (32ACP aside) 32 pistol ammo your dealer has on his shelf

Personally, I would prefer a .327 to any .32-20, but that is a beautifully rendered revolver. I'm sure you'll really enjoy owning and shooting it.

How would you fit a 327 into a revolver? The carburator it's self is to big. I think I'd have to go with the .32-20 just a lot more class. But hey the 32 HR Mag has it's own following to.

Yes, I thought about a second cylinder in .327 Federal but the cylinder is one of the most expensive components. Like about 550.00 dollars. I went with the 32-20 because I have a Marlin 1894 in that caliber and wanted a companion handgun for kicking around in the hills. It will make an awesome Jack rabbit combo.! Please Alan, send me the bill I want to shoot it. ;D
