I always get a knot in my stomach when slinging stuff at bears. I have never had that problem when sending lead at other animals or even steel targets at long distance. I was once going to get a resettable target so I could practice on my longer distance crap shoots! My only rule is "If you don't take the shot, you will never know how far the bullet is good far.". Take some one along to document the shots and take pictures also. Have fun and keep shooting.
