Bill took this bull jack rabbit at 50 yds using his savage 1920 in 250-3000 the load was 100gr speer hollow point and 33.0gr blc-2

nice shooting and very nice rifle. those are really rare! maybe the first really light weight slick handling sporting bolt action made in the US. have looked for one of those for a long time.

Nice pictures. My father has had three 1920's,one 250-3000 that he sold, one 300 savage that is original, and one 250-3000 re-rifled to 7mm and he re chambered it to 7mm-08. Super light feeling little rifles that were built in a time when production guns were as much a work of art as a tool.
