Finally got 'em. Local guy had some desert bighorn horns from Game and Fish and made me some grips for my Clements .500 Magnum bisley (basically a .500 JRH) . I bought this gun for a good price last year because it has some blue loss due to blood staining. I will go to David for a re-blue tomorrow. I think it will come out pretty well and I'm thrilled with the grips. He's already working on another set for me.

Beautiful! I remember that gun - it will be perfect after a reblue.

Looks great. I wouldn't even blue it personally

Great looking grips. Never seen the front strap corner carried so far back into the grip. Does it bite?

I think the darker coffee colors and grain are beautiful. Very, very nice.

Those are beautiful, just perfect. Horn might be my favorite grip material... even though I don't have any... but the search continues. NICE gun as well.

Can you share the name/contact info of who did them? Does he have any sheep horn left for another pair? Would love to get a pair done. Sheep horn seems hard to find these days...

Very nice Bushog! Love it. Redfox, Grasshorn Gunworks did these sheepshorn grips for me on a Ruger Lipsey 44 Special.

Man, that is a beautiful set of grips. Have to say that instead of re-bluing I would have the frame case hardened.
Envious, that's what I am.

Another one that got away. I just wish I could keep them all.

Sometimes God smiles on a pair of grips in the makers hands a little more than others. Goodness that grain flows right along the backstrap. Wow
