Being it was the 4th of July and all it seemed only fitting to take the 94 to the range with me. I keep finding these little swinging targets left behind, so I put it up on the 100 yard berm. All I had were std. 255 gr lead swc with 8.0 gr of unique as I had my USFA with me. I think I was beyond the design specifications....Wonder what the 250 xtp's with 17.5 gr of 2400 would have done. That is the load this rifle shoots the best. ;D

Friend Miles Fortis had a Legacy 94 .45 which is memorable to me as the single best shooting 45LC long gun I have ever fired.
Don't recall the exact recipe, but its fave load was a 260 Speer over a middlin' charge of IMR4227.
They are nice. You wish Winchester had started building .45LC rifles a lot sooner.
