Our state has had a few fatalities when cars versus pedestrian and bicycle collisions have happened. It's dangerous out there. So our Governor came up with a "campaign" to increase awareness of the law here giving pedestrian and bicycle traffic right of way at crosswalks. Sounds like a good idea. This would involve a sign that would get attention and lay out the law of who has the right of way. Again, sounds like a good plan. However the placement of said sign could have used a little better planning on the exact location for a motorist to see it.  Yep. They chose a questionable location to paint it. On the sidewalk, in the middle of each block. Only in North Carolina. |

We wanted and did get married as close to peak leaf color here. Sadly forever more, a weekend gone from grouse and archery deer seasons. I better start doing some math here...lets see..'84
