Old Colt grips? You'd think somebody would make some reproductions.

Robb,,, being a parent,, or a grandparent is both rewarding & frustrating all the time. Rewarding when we see the good things they learned,, from us,, and frustrating when they do things we (in our life experienced knowledge) wish they wouldn't do. As state,, we need to be able to counsel them wisely w/o condemnation or such attitudes. All of us have experiences in our lives we learned the hard way,, so it goes,,,!
But I'm glad to hear he's on the mend,, and doing better. Prayers do work!

Tuesday? Shoot a little... Load a little... Expecting 2000 swaged 200 grain SWCs from Zero today.. I prefer hard cast properly sized bullets for my paper punchers but these swaged bullets shoot good too..

Wandering through the front and find the manager holding a newly arrived Glock 17L. Used gun but NIB. Didn't even look to check the generation, It is mine. Looked at Dawson for sights, Lonewolf for a barrel..

The human body does an amazing job of healing itself. Was able to help Spencer take his stitches out this morning and mist all the concrete rash has healed and peeled off. Time to head for the airport in a few hours and get back to small town and outdoors rather than waking around neighborhoods with the situational radar running full tilt. Besides there are too many people to keep an eye on all at the same time in a city the size of Denver.
Thanks again guys for your thoughts and prayers though this. He does answer prayers and His love for His searching and wandering children never stops. Even if they don’t see it.

So, you guys know I am a pocket pool shooter.. You know.. One hand on the gun, the other in my pocket. Timed (5 in 20 seconds) and rapid (5 in 10 seconds)fire at 25 yards and slow fire (10 rounds in 10 minutes) at 50 yards. As such what I look for in a 1911 is a little different. I require 100% reliability and 50 Yard X Ring accuracy... Zero just shipped me a new batch of 200 grain swaged SWCs. I load them on my Dillon 1050 with Federal primers and a pinch of bullseye. Pulled out my KC Crawford tweaked 45 last night...

Slow fire.... Actually at 25 yards NOT at 50 as the match requires. Let that one get out...
