A patch of freezing rain came in at dark last night. Oddly warmed over night and was gone by early this am. Serious weather bullet dodged. That freezing rain swath now over central Penn and moving east. Be careful folks. Weather folks now warning us of "Lake Effect" snow for tomorrow. It is hard to predict, some forecasts, nothing. Some calling for 8+ inches "where bands persist". This is the nature of lake effect. It is not a blob on radar coming from Alberta, etc..that can be tracked. Lake effect is unseen until it forms right over the lee shore and runs down wind. So, for me, I watch the shore line of Lake Erie , over Lake County Ohio. This is only @ 15 miles away. Little warning.
