I recently came into possession of a NMBH in .357 and a NM Single Six. Both are in pretty darn good shape and I like all of them except the aluminum grip frames. I'm quite sure anodized aluminum is serviceable but it ain't blued steel.
I would love to replace them with steel even if I have to have the guns reblued. If I remember correctly, I can buy new steel grip frames which is one resolution but if I'm going to all this trouble (especially the reblueing part) why not have #5 type grip frames made (either from scratch or modify new grip frames)?
My question is: Does anyone have dimensions, measurements, or other information that would be required to make a #5 grip frame? Also, I seem to remember reading that Elmer's #5 was two piece. Is this correct?
If this information is available and if grip frames could be made available, would other be interested?

Ron Powers of GrandMasters LLC is taking orders for his first batch of #5 two piece steel grip frames. Email them and see if there are any uncommitted in this first run and that would be by far the quickest way to go.
