Didn't we have a discussion here once about the company trying to make new M&H revolvers? I can't find the thread by searching. At any rate - if you want a chuckle (assuming you didn't put in a deposit on one of these fantasy pistols), take a look at their website now. The company is now owned by Sharps Rifles, won't give any refunds of deposits, is changing all orders to .45 caliber (regardless of what anyone actually paid for) and STILL hasn't produced an actual working prototype. They also did away with the forum on their site where customers could chat about the pistols, get status updates, etc. This is a saga that's been going on since 2005 or 2007 or something. It's timely that this coincides with USFA showing the signs of breathing its last. Of course the two companies couldn't be more different - USFA actually produced a quality product. I hate it for those who are going to lose their deposits, but I still can't figure why anyone would send folks money without even seeing a working prototype. That's the very definition of wishful thinking I guess. www.merwinhulbertco.com/

If memory serves me correctly,a BUNCH of people here warned about such things happening on that thread. And FWIW the search function doesnt work worth a crap for me so I would suggest going to Single Action thread and clicking back untill M&H shows up.

i left them a deposit, long ago. i know i am naive but JT did too. i still hope to get my 3 barrel set someday. They are , after all, Wyoming folk, and that generally does mean they will try to do what they say.
my fingers and toes remain crossed.

wonder of wonders....got a direct call from the fellow at Merwin Hulbert today.....we were out 4wheeling, hunting grouse.....he says the still are counting my 310$ deposit, and that i still have serial # 10, and they are definitely going to get them made. Maybe they have also talked to JT.......i am going to give them the benefit of the doubt. still hope i get my 3 barrel set. he did not call wanting more $ , but just to make sure i am still planning on the purchase.

I sure hope they pull it off, as I'll buy one. But, I'm not risking any deposit money and am glad I didn't back when I considered it.

It would be nice if it got near as far along as the Hartford Arms Remington, at least there would be some out there to buy, if not many.

I'd love to see them make good on those deposits and get the guns made but I'm not holding my breath. ...glad I didn't back when I considered it. Me too!
