What is happening to them?
Their website only has one gun.

That is a new development. Guess the only parts they have left are to build .45 Colt Single Actions with fixed sights.

On their way out. I was hoping somebody like Turnbull would buy them out but it doesn't look like it.

Looks like USFA might end up having more collectible value than 3rd Gen Colts!
Oh the irony!

Wish I'd kept all the ones I used to have, but they all became TLAs. Well, each one became PART of a TLA....

The web site for their now one and only offering states:
Contact USFA for pricing! Call the factory (860) 296-7441 to order.
How about contact gunbroker for pricing? They are the only ones with stock and the price seems to be going up!
This is indeed a sad situation. I'm not one with a quiver full of customs to compare but often remember the Bowen quote to the effect of no amount of gunsmithing easily turning a Ruger into a FA. Well, having a decent amount of Ruger experience added to that a single FA, I simply could not believe the fit and finish (for the money) of my Rodeo when I first picked it up. Granted, designed with a different intent but in many ways every bit the equal of my model 83. Not being a cowboy action shooter it has only been used lightly and is in excellent condition. With the present situation I have to wonder if a trip to Turnbull's shop might be in the cards one day. Hmm... maybe fitted for a S&W sight first?

I sure wish I had keep mine. It was a Rodeo in 45 colt and shot like a house on fire. It was tight and sure seem to be made right. I sure wish they could stay in business.

This thread is genuinely making me sad. I don't yet own a USFA but have handled many of them and they're on my must hast. I pray they'll meet some well-heeled venture capitalist or some such that can infuse the needed cash and talent to keep their fine products being produced.

It is really sad because they were putting out such a wonderful product. Glad I got my last one when I did, for a total of four but it'll never be enough. Prices will probably be double in a year. Still, I was REALLY wanting to get a nice Bisley Flat-top Target like bushog's set.

Another indicator of how small a group we single action fans are in the overall scheme of things. Reading here a newbie might think that USFA was making money hand over fist and was poised to take over the high end revolver market. All we can do to help is... buy more guns
