It was one I did not expect to see, but one I'd hoped to come across. It came with the box and stuff...even an extra cylinder! AND....better yet, after switching cylinders, it sent those .45 Colt slugs down range in nice tight groups! Bob

Great grab Bob! just keep Glenn away from it! He seems to sneak all my neat guns into his house. ;D

Nice! One of the best .45's ever made. Hope you didn't have to pay too much of a collector premium.

Thanks guys.
I waited until Glenn was on the road to let him know what he missed.
Craig, I was fortunate. The seller did not have the gun even close to the RENE #'s. He was happy, I was happy.

Nice piece. One of the handful of OM Ruger's I still own is a non-convertable like yours. It is mint and I have owned it for years but have never shot it. My convertible was used as barter with Harton on the last build. The 4 5/8" I will keep.

Thanks. I have heard a great deal of praise for the gun. It's not all that common around here.

Well Axe, I may have to hold on to this one for a little while. It needs some range time.
Thanks for the comments.

Hands down my favorite Ruger. Simply love the 4 5/8's OM 45's. All I could have asked for in addition is if Ruger had made then 10-12 years sooner so there were more available and a few in flat-top.
I'd you ever bore of it, I am sure there are many a folk--me included--to help you turn a profit. These are best enjoyed though.
