Got my Oryx mount back from the taxidermist recently. Killed him on private land down near the "Missle Range" here in NM last year. Heck of a lot more convenient than Africa. NO HIGH FENCES either Have another Oryx hunt in Dec. with my 75yo Dad down on the Armendaris Ranch, East of Elephant Butte. It's Ted Turner's place and costs some serious coin but should be an experience. Just thought I'd share.

Neat. I had two friends get oryx down that way last summer - one on the range and one on the difficult to succeed depredation hunt around the edge. I've still got a couple oryx loin steaks in the freezer - amazing stuff.

Very nice! I've heard that there are a lot of Oryx in the southern part of the Florida Mountains (south of Deming NM just north of Columbus).
