Ever head of him? If not, try him out. I've had Joe work over two Ruger SA revolvers of mine in the past 6 months. He is an artist in grip making and his action work is top notch. I hope Lee doesn't slap my hand for endorsing someone on this sacred site, but Joe is the cat's meow... and a great guy to boot! I don't see his name pop up very often on line, but WOW what he can do to a Ruger SA revolver! Check him out! He did grips and action work on a NM Ruger SBH 44 mag for me earlier this year, and now a large frame Vaquero 45 Colt and they are both my top "semi-customs" in my stable. His grips cannot be described with words, and his action work is like butter on a hot Tuscon afternoon. Joe Perkins, Outlaw Grips... check him out! PS, I'm sending a pair of cons serial number Ruger large frame SS Vaqueros in 45 Colt with 4 and 5/8 inch barrels next week to have him work over, grips, action jobs, Colt style ejector rods, 11 degree forcing cones, oversized cylinder bolts, and Colt style base pins, serrated front sights, etc... the works. He's one of the best. Just wanted to share this with my bro's here on SA forum!

Thanks for sharing! I do want to send him my Vaquero Birdshead someday...for action work and some Ebony grips!
I have checked out his website many times over the past year or two!

You'll be pleased with his work Wheely! Joe's a great guy to boot and he runs about 6-8 weeks on turn around for what you're looking to have done (grips and action job). I shot the heck out of the Vaquero 45 Colt this weekend that I just got back from him and it's sweet.
