If a person were to have a NEW XR3 GRIPFRAME, as the ones coming out on the flattops, is it possible to assemble it on an OLD MODEL 3-screw, or would there be a labor intensive project involved Wes

You could mount it on an old model Ruger but you would need to make one of the trigger return spring blocks to pin in place. There is a sticky about it on the Ruger Forum if I remember correctly. Here is a link to it. www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/3631549

Thank you Sir, I've wondered about this for some time but the new gripframes are so scarce I put it on the back burner for some time to pass hoping they would become more plentiful.

I have a new model XR3-Red aluminum alloy grip frame, ceracoated matte black if you have a need for one.
