"Actually, there is no voodoo to it." Ha! So true. Thanks for the explanation. By "voodoo" I was thinking something more like our own JT's bumper/tailgate mounted barrel turning vice that he wrote about some time back. I know that barrel turning can be used to correct windage as well, but that's certainly beyond my skill level. Your meticulous file work is a good lesson for the rest of us. Thank you for the info.

Mine was perfectly centered for windage. I had to file .025" off the front sight ... carefully.

Carried my Vaq Birdshead all weekend in a D.M. Bullard Bodyguard holster. Concealed under a tee shirt and short sleeve button up summer shirt (Hawaii style...without the loud designs) and my wife did not notice!
A bit heavy, but after a short time, forgot it was there!

You're too kind, my friend. That gun deserves a photo from somewhere up Bear Canyon - I'll have to get on it!

Nice all the way around! Nice camera work Erich. Bob I know, I keep putting off taking and posting my own pics...since Erich's are so good! While I'm on this thread, I should say that I just ordered a Maxpedition Messenger bag...this allows for concealed carry in a discreet bag, with quick access via a zipper on the top flap.. I know off-body carry is not the best idea...but then again, neither is carrying a single action for self-defense! I'm making it work though....

Pshaw, Peter. I keep checking back for your pics - the Messenger bag is an interesting idea.

My wife is going away this weekend, so I should be able to produce some gun porn! As soon as the messenger bag is set up, I will attempt to show some pics in the Lounge forum.
Trust me, when I get good pics, you all will be sick of seeing them, as I will post them at any opportunity!

Put some more rounds downrange today... From 10 yds out, this revolver found it's sweet spot! Obliterating the X-ring, and as the day progressed, I was faster and faster with this revolver.

I find mine remarkably easy to hit with as well - glad to see it's not anomaly!

In my opinion about the only time a SA gives up anything to other guns is in reload time. I've learned to cock with my left thumb while the gun is in recoil & repeat shots are pretty fast. Nice guns fella's, I enjoy looking at them, thanks for sharing. Frank
