I love watching a project unfold just as much as I love pulling the trigger on the final project. You guys may have seen me snipe a few good deals on Bisley kits over on the Ruger Forum. Here's where one went. I bought a .357 / .44 anny set from a local friend. Snagged the grips & the grip frame on the RF on another gun. By the time I sold the box & the .357, this project became some pretty low fruit. This is planned to be in a box headed west to JH this week to get the barrel chopped to 4.63" and an FA style front sight fitted. I'll be attempting my own BP chamfer this week for this piece.

I have been here. Just not as prolific as I once was. I have a half a dozen project boxes I'm hoping to trickle back in to the pipeline.

Those grips are something else. I'm looking forward to seeing this come together. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Glad to see your back into the swing of gun "development" I love your ideas. Still got your old BFR. Great gun. I'm still bummed I missed out on your 480 vaquero. Can't wait to see how this one works out.

I'm the same way John. The project planning and build are every bit as exciting as the trigger time. Hell, by the time I get a conversion to the range I'm already drawing-up another project. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

It's not hard to come-up with ideas. We ought to start a projects thread. I'm always curious to know what others have on their lists. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"
