not bad, what was the issue with the cast bullets? Leading?

They were shooting patterns rather then groups. Not for sure why yet. They are Cast Performance 300 gr bullets. The JHP that shot so well are 300gr Swifts. May not have a fast enough twist in the barrel to stabilize good...... maybe the barrel is a bit oversized for these cast bullets. I have some 250gr cast that I'm going to load and see what happens.

Scrub the heck out of it as I am guessing you had/have a bit of lead in your rifling, and gas check the bullets and it should be fine

I had already cleaned it real good and that wasn't the problem. I did some more shooting and think I have a heating up problem. First two or three shots are on then they go away. I removed the forearm and sanded out the high spots in the wood. When I put it back together and tightened the forearm band down then back off til I had just a small amount of forearm movement. I'll shoot it again today and see what kind of difference this makes.

Might try just giving the barrel a few seconds between shots
