There will be one of the NRA summer classes soon with Mr. Bowen instructing. Anyone attended one of these before?

I attended last year in NC. Very much geared to the hobbyist. Went through action work on Ruger and Colt SAs.

I came up from Houston in 2010 for the class and have since moved back to Oklahoma. I'm headed down next week to take the class again. Forty hours with Hamilton was a treat. I'm no gunsmith nor will I ever be, but I learned a lot about how Ruger SA's function. Probably disassembled and reassembled my Rugers dozens of times during the week. Learned how to slick up the action, install trigger stops, free spin the cylinder with a little hex screw rather than filing down the pawl, hand file a black powder chamfer, remove and reset a barrel, shoot little round holes in targets, eat barbecue and solve all the world's major problems.
The class was a bargain and the guys from Murray State were great hosts. We tried to talk them into offering a "building a five shot revolver" class but I guess that didn't work out yet.
I"m anxiously awaiting next week! Anyone else going? Tim
