I've got a big divot in my transfer bar safety on a new model Blackhawk. It looks like its from the transfer bar hitting the back of the firing pin assy in the frame after the hammer falls. At some point its going to fail to push the firing pin far enough to ignite the primer, or possibly even just break. Anybody know where to find a new or used transfer bar for a New Model Blackhawk or have a spare you can sell me? Can't find them in stock at Brownells or Midway... Help!

Got it, polished it, installed it, now off to the range to test fire it. Only comment, these things come in pretty rough shape, lists of casting flash fro the parting lines, had to work it down with a stone and polish it up...

I'm thinking we need to start a thread about the parts we need to be holding.. Stuff like pins, screws, xfer bars, springs, etc... Bownell's and Midway have most of this stuff.. I'll get that done right now...
