These vids are all great but I have to question the one you posted Lee. Shooting from a rest does show technique on holding a big thumper? I've fired a 50 Alaskan handgun from a rest!! It does because he is severely limiting its movement when all it wants to do is climb.

Would love to read Ross' article! Any chance of finding it online? Coming from IPSC shooting, I was more of a "let it ride" guy until I went to Bill Rogers' excellent school several years ago. I started experimenting with using more muscle on my boomers and it was a revelation. Was interesting shooting alongside Hamilton B last year on the .500 Linebaugh...he seemed to use less muscle but had perfect control of the gun...
