Thanks for the notice.
Seemed like a pretty nice package to me. I negotiated a price with him and grabbed it.

Excellent! Congrats. That seemed like a good deal even at his asking price if a guy needed the ammo. I hear Gallagher actions are smooooth and his guns are accurate. I'm fixing to find out I think. Notice the OM/recessed case heads cylinder?

As you noted, the cylinder is recessed for the case heads. But, it's not from a OM Ruger. It's a custom job. Note the extra length of it and the absence of barrel setback into the window. That length is needed to house those big 330gr Hammerheads.
The seller said he'll be shipping the gun and holster overnight from Washington to Kentucky through his company somehow at a cost of only $16.00! The ammo will come later by ground.
I'm think I'm gonna be pleased. Thanks again for the heads-up on the obscure ad.

Excellent observation on that cylinder.. At first glance I figured one of the the maximum cylinders that John is so fond of using but the recessed case heads rule that out. That custom will make a wonderful addition to anyone's "set" Make sure you capture that magazine article to go with it. Plan to send it here when it gets old..
