Nice photos and a great boat. Is that a Sea Sport XL? 24 footer?

The range is one of the handgun ranges at the Snowshoe gun club between Kenai and Soldotna.
Boat is a 2006 model 2200 Sportsman, just over 25' step to pulpit but only 22' hull. First saltwater boat, with the new baby I was joking with the wife that we need a bigger one--but love the portability of this one. If/when we move up, likely having a 28' built down in Homer but will wait a couple more years to see how much I can get the little one out there and if there are any more little ones to follow. (I'm getting too darn old for these little ones though) It fits/sleeps 3 adult size fat kids nicely for multi-day trips, you could have 4 if wife and kids along where folks can snuggle up close at night, but on guy trips, I limit it to three if we are spending the nights on the boat.

I made it too Alaska for a hunting trip last August/Sept. I got a real nice caribou, but didn't see a bull moose. I want to go back bad.
Like others on here I was hoping to move there, but my wife says MT is far enough from MN. Her home state.

Wow, what a dream life! Good on you!
Now I have been in 40° below before in Saskatchewan. I never need to be that cold again. It hurts! It was an unexpected stop on a business trip and of course I wasn't dressed for it. Got some funny looks from locals!
I'll never forget that one little short gal that walked up to me and in her classic Canadian accent says "Soooo... ain't from around here, are ya!?!" She was very helpful in helping my clear my eyes of frozen tears and finding some suitable head cover and footwear in a hurry!
