I recently bought a Chapparell 45-60 for Yogi,for making Eagle Scout. Does anyone know of a loading manual with data for it?

My partner shoots an original 76 in 45-60. I will see what he is feeding it.

The only load I am using right now is a 300 gr from a Lyman mould an 26 grains of 5744.

Venturino has published a few books related to the subject. I've got a copy of the book he and Garbe wrote out in the shop. I'll run look for 45-60 data in it. If there is some shall I scan a page and send it?

Page 103 of The 49th Edition, Lyman Reloading Handbook has 1876 Win Modern Replica 45-60 data. They list loads for the 292gr Lyman 457191 using IMR-4198, AA5744, AA2015, Pyrodex 30gr Pistol Pellets, Trail Boss and Varget
They also show data fro the 330gr HP Lyman 457122 using AA5744, AA2015, Trail Boss and Triple Seven FFg.
I don't have a scanner, but PM me if any of the above powder/bullet combos interest you.

Thanks for checking,but I really am not ready to teach him BP loading. Not to mention risking him forgetting to clean it after shooting.
