I have been a little intrigued by this holster since it came out. Does anyone have one. Have you worn it for an extended period of time? How do you like it? Is it difficult to clear the holster when drawing?
Thanks. I am thinking about one for a 5 1/2 inch Blackhawk and like that it sits high on the belt.

It's the same as the old (rare) TLA "Texas High-Rider", and a dern fine design. Works for either left-hand or right-hand carry, is secure, and rides very well.

I have a Wheelgunner holster for my 5 1/2" Bisley & Flattop conv. and find it an excellent carry system and very comfortable and flexible. I also have Galco's SAO (Single Action Outdoorsman) and it too is first rate. It can also be worn strong side or x-draw.
Max.

I have one. It is a good holster and carries a big gun high and tight. I just wish it would be made with a thicker leather. But for the price they are good.

Will the holster body remain open (not collapse when the revolver is drawn) so it can be reholstered one handed?

Will the holster body remain open (not collapse when the revolver is drawn) so it can be reholstered one handed? Yep....it stays open. I agree that thicker leather would be nice. I think Ted Blocker makes one also. I like it when I am going in and out of the house a lot and just knocking aroung the farm. It is comfortable, but not as secure as my Pancake from Simply Rugged.

Thanks for the replies. Ted Blocker has a version and isn't too far away and I may make a visit.

A friend has the Galco for his M29. Seems to like it.

I have a few of the original Grover holsters, and they are great. The design also lets you remove & reattach the holster without taking off the belt. I don't have any of the Galcos, but I have handled them and they look very well-done.
