What are people carrying their BFR's in? I have to come up with a holster for mine and I think custom is about the only game in town. I am thinking a pancake, but a 120 would be fine as well.

I had looked into their holsters, but everything seems to be for the longer barrels and/or the long cylinder. I suppose if they made one for the shorty 44, it would fit my 475. I'll have to do some checking but I think I already asked Mr Leathy about one, then got sidetracked with the grips.

It might not be a bad idea to make up a few long hunters while you have that gun. They seem like they would sell. I know there are a few on the castboolit site with long cylinder guns they hunt with, usually with a red dot mounted on them. I don't own a long cylinder gun currently, but will be shopping for leather for my 5.5" short cylinder 500JRH once MR chops it.

Knew better than to post at work while trying to build hairpin in the 5ESS. Sincerest apologies Mr Leahy. I'll call tomorrow and have you make one for my 4 5/8 BFR

Looks more like the front sight from a Ruger Mk. III Target.

No sweat, TEK not offended at all, thank you. Toro; North of Prescott, and thanks. I probably should build a couple ahead... maybe something with those little caster wheels Like RVs use for riding up & over logs and rocks on the trail...:-)
