United Sporting Arms did a run of brass 44 Specials in 1984. I actually have the wholesale receipt for one of the big shipments. They're not common, but the same can be said of a lot of Seville models. I suspect it'll go high because it's a Special. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

I wonder what that mess is on the left side of the frame at the grip. A casting flaw?

Ken....yep, it's a casting flaw. I've seen two other brass Sevilles with similar issues. It's one of the reasons I'm not going to bid. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

I've currently got high bid on it, but I'm not sure I'll go any higher than I already am. Will be interesting to see how this one does.

Turns out I have the original shipment sheet for this gun. Dates back to July 1984 and it was part of an order for 11 such models. Year ago I purchased a Seville collection from a former distributor. He was kind enough to include a lot of the factory letters, shipment sheets, and advertising. If any of you win it, let me know. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Way high in my opinion. But someone has the money and is willing to pay that. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

I was in for a while....but it went too high for me! Ouch. I bet it would have gone higher too if another would have stayed on it.
