I got this today. It's gonna have another birthday. It'll be turning 51! .510 that is ...Bisley parts are on the way and other parts/plans are in the works. It's on it's way to becoming a Bisley NM Flattop 500L. Man this is fun! I must say though, this is a nice gun. Locks up solid, fit and finish is excellent. Trigger creep is barely noticeable at all if any. Steel gripframe and erh and all in a flashy 50th Ann motif.

My recomendation is that you always be on the lookout for good deals on Bisleys.. If you like the large frame FTs do the same for them.. Nice to have one on hand when those projects ideas pop into your head..

Keep us posted. Sounds like it'll be quite a piece. Any idea what sort of grips you'll use? -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Ovis Dalli from here in Alaska. I'll come up with a horn. Hopefully find one in the mtns myself this summer, if not I'll get one from a friend. Gotta leave my current ones on the wall!

I haven't quite decided yet. I've talked with John L., Bowen and Huntington and Gallagher somewhat. I'm buying a barrel from him. 5.5 octagon w/integrated sightbase/erh recoil lug. I like what Huntington does with the Bisley grip frame mod. I started out wanting a Linebaugh built 500L but like this whole project it is evolving and taking on a life of it's own! About the time I think I know what I want I think I want something else.... I think! What a blast!
