Trail Boss Armory - Double Rifle 45-70

Hello gents,

I ran ac-crossed a double rifle at the Big Reno show this weekend. It was a double rifle in 45-70 that looked NIB. Has anyone heard of the Trail Boss Armory which manufactured this rifle?

I have so far been unable to find anything on the interwebs about them.

they were in business back in the early 1980s . they imported guns that i believe were from Pedersoli. i had one of there 58 cal double rifles, and looked at their 45/70. later i got a pedersoli 45/70 and as far as i could tell they were the same gun. mine was a very high quality rifle. they bring really good prices now, sold mine abot two years ago. how much was he asking?

sold mine for 2700, about 2 years ago.. [ bought it for 1400, a few years before that! ]
