I've been trying to snag an original model 39 Carbine, but the the price I have in mind hasn't come close to what they are selling for. Then I see your conversion & think duh, why didn't I think of that.

Pretty simple project if you have the tools. The rear sight would be the only extra expense if you didnt need any replacement parts. This one needed a new mag hanger and I managed to destroy 2 mag tubes before I got one cut down. I have a PTG 90 and 79 degree cutter for the crown plus some hand cutters for the muzzle chamfer.
