I could not wait for final fitting....had to brag on his work! Just a tad better than these heh? Just a tad...more like a total transformation! One of these days, I'm gonna run across a .401 PowerMag at a gunshow for cheap. Been wanting one since I was a kid...

O yeah ,That's an improvement!!! Mine demanded the same thing as the old plastic , besides being unbearably fugley were over tightened and cracked. While not fancy wood they lend a nice "old tool" look and a way better feel.

One of these days, I'm gonna run across a .401 PowerMag at a gunshow for cheap. Been wanting one since I was a kid... Mine was kinda cheap. I had to trade a Hawes 44 mag for it. Lets see, an easy to feed , good shooting, ready to go german import for a labor intensive to feed ,desperatly needing grips, ugly to many, german import. Why wouldn't I swap?

Hey, I think that wood looks pretty darn nice! I thought you said it wasn't fancy?
I can't help but wonder what old George would be thinking? I mean with all these custom six guns around. You know, large grips, lower hammer spurs, large oversize blade front sights, unusual cartridges very few people have ... boy was he ahead of his times or what?
