Hello Gents,
While I know there are a lot of great holster makers around, I'm having trouble finding someone to make a shoulder rig for a larger revolver.
Looked at Simply Rugged's Chesty Puller but that's not what I had in mind.
Was hoping for something like Dirty Harry carried but Lawman Holsters (think that's the name) doesn't have such a good rep from what I've gleaned on the Web.
Any ideas?
Thanks for looking,

Depending on what you are after, the Ringler Wyoming Combo Holster will carry a big hunting revolver very comfortably (even a scoped revolver). A bonus is that Von is a great guy to work with.
7X leather makes nice holsters as well but their chest holster is similar to the Simply Rugged Chesty Puller.

What is considered a larger revolver to you?? What are you wanting it to fit?

What is considered a larger revolver to you?? What are you wanting it to fit? A Ruger Redhawk 4.2", yes not a SA but hoping that doesn't matter to the maker. The DA section here isn't anywhere near as active as the SA Forums. No offense to the DA Section at all.

Bianchi's old X15 design is still about the best vertical shoulder rig, look for a Large on ebay. Mitch Rosen makes the best Horizontal rig. I have made them, but for some reason shoulder holsters attract a disproportionate number of Walter Mitty type lunatics, and prefer not to offer them(No reflection on you at all ). If you are a big chested guy shoulder holsters are less than optimal, often requiring a double grab to get your gun out.

No revolver holsters from Mitch Rosen but Alessi Gun Holsters has a few listed. The Ringler Wyoming Combo Holster looks amazing, very solid and well thought out. Thanks a bunch for the input and leads fellows

Ted Blocker holsters makes a wide variety of leather rigs, and a couple different shoulder holsters. I have several and they are very well built and nice to look at as well.

Try this guy www.oldpueblosaddle.com/He made a pair of custom holsters for my 3rd model dragoons and they are really nice and all hand tooled to boot. He will do custom work and grantees you will like it. The prices are reasonable too. He's also a real interesting guy to know!

Personally I don't like that weight hanging off my shoulders. I've got a crossdraw holster for my BFR. I can carry that all day. I have back issues though.
