Hey guys, I am going to have a machining house quote a special project for me for my TC encores.
Trying to gauge demand (if any at all)
I am going to have some blocks machined, analogous to the standoffs used by TC for their muzzleloader barrels on the Encore. It will take std 8-40 scope mount screws to mount the block to the barrel, and commercially available screws (of the end users choice) to mount a muzzleloader forend to the barrel.
I'll be doing a high cost intial set and test them on my nasty litttle 16.4" 45-70, then if they work out, go into serial production. My thought is to let anyone get the benefit of the hanger bar / pillar bedding systems out there with a commercially available forend.
